I perform it transvaginally, which gives the most precise image, or abdominally when that suits you better. It shows the uterus and endometrium, the ovaries and their follicles, and can detect fibroids, polyps, cysts, signs of endometriosis or adenomyosis, or check the position of an IUD.
It is painless, uses no radiation and completes the examination in the same visit, so many questions are answered without waiting for another appointment.
